Made from a mixture of synthetic and starch based plastics, these bags meet the strictest standard for compostable plastics - EN 13432. The resin for these bags is also BPI certified. Breaking down in only 3 to 6 months in a home or commercial composting system, they work just like regular plastic bags without taxing the environment. That isn't the only thing these bags do to help the environment either, because we donate 25% of profits to grassroots social and environmental organizations.
