Description

World Centric biodegradable and compostable cups are made from 100% bagasse - sugarcane fiber remaining after extraction of juice from sugarcane. Sugarcane is not only an annually renewable resource, but it can be turned into products normally made from plastic or paper. Using bagasse also avoids the pollution that would normally happen as a result of burning sugarcane pulp after juice extraction.

Our biodegradable cups are soak proof, have no plastic or wax lining and can be used for both hot and cold items. Although these compostable cups are soak proof, some hot items will cause the cups to "perspire" and some condensation will form at the bottom.

Instead of using petroleum based plastics which create toxicity and environmental pollution, you can now use our compostable alternatives.

Please note, composting is required for biodegradation. These compostable cups will biodegrade within 30 days in a commercial composting facility, but can take up to 90 days in a home composting system. Also, due to their rough exterior, the 2oz & 4oz cups may stick together and require some fiddling to separate them.
