Account
Manager
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual who is
committed to environmental and social change and feels passionate about
making a difference in the world.
Responsibilities
Take inbound calls/emails, provide information and pricing estimates, fulfill sample requests, finalize sales, ensure orders are delivered on time.
Manage day to day client relationships with large and mid-size clients.
Communicate and keep clients informed of all issues related to their orders.
Maintain existing relationships and resolve customer issues/problems.
Identify and develop new accounts.
Attend events, trade-shows, and customer related meetings.
Required
Experience
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, manage details, and work in a fast-paced changing environment.
Prior account management/sales experience.
Ability to learn quickly and become knowledgeable of products in a short time.
Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
Strong customer relationship & organizational skills.
Professional, tactful, and at ease interacting with large customer accounts and stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, team-player, enthusiastic and easy to get along with.
Good computer skills and at ease with learning new software systems.
Experience with CRM, accounting, inventory, and/or order management systems a plus.
Experience in food services industry and/or retail/wholesale distribution a plus.
